Project: Complete Apartment Renovation in Quarteira

Below is a breakdown of the key tasks we completed, each carefully planned and executed to transform the apartment into a stylish and functional home.

• Removal of old finishes and reconfiguration of the layout: The project began with stripping out all outdated materials, including old flooring, wall finishes, and fixtures. This allowed us to start fresh and make necessary adjustments to the layout, optimising the flow and functionality of the space.
• Integration of the living room with the kitchen-dining area: To create a spacious, open-plan environment, we combined the living room with the kitchen and dining areas. This involved removing non-structural walls and designing a seamless transition between the zones, enhancing the sense of openness.
• Replacement of flooring with wood-effect laminate: We installed high-quality, wood-effect laminate flooring throughout the living room and kitchen-dining area. This material was chosen for its durability, ease of maintenance, and natural wood appearance, adding warmth and elegance to the space.
• Installation of new windows and doors to improve natural lighting: To increase natural light, we replaced the existing windows with larger, energy-efficient models. New modern doors were also installed, complementing the clean, contemporary look of the renovated apartment.
• Complete rewiring and installation of modern lighting fixtures: All outdated electrical systems were replaced to meet modern standards. This included rewiring the entire space, installing new power outlets, and fitting stylish, energy-efficient lighting fixtures that enhance both functionality and ambiance.
• Installation of a suspended ceiling with integrated LED lighting: A new suspended ceiling was fitted, allowing for the integration of LED lighting strips. These lights provide both functional illumination and a soft, atmospheric glow, enhancing the modern feel of the space.
• Fitting of new kitchen units and appliances: The kitchen area was completely revamped with custom-built cabinetry, offering ample storage. New, state-of-the-art appliances were installed, including an oven, hob, extractor fan, and integrated refrigerator, making the kitchen both stylish and functional.
• Painting the walls in light tones: The walls were painted in light, neutral shades to maximise the feeling of space and reflect the natural light. This colour palette also serves as a versatile backdrop, allowing for a variety of decorative styles and personal touches.
• Installation of decorative elements to highlight the modern interior design: To complete the modern aesthetic, carefully selected decorative elements were added, such as contemporary light fixtures, minimalist shelving, and subtle accent pieces. These details enhance the overall look and give the apartment a polished, cohesive style.
• Final cleaning and handover to the client: After completing the renovation, the apartment was thoroughly cleaned to ensure it was ready for immediate use. The finished space was then presented to the client, meeting all expectations and project requirements.
